This is the 2nd step in the DNS educational ladder and the course is for those who want to move to the next level.
The instructor course contains:
At level 2, We focus heavily on developing your own skiing skills. This is important for you to be able to show a good practical picture within a teaching context. During the course, we go in deeper, where we work further with analyzing the individual skier. We also look at how, where and why we communicate this, so that the student can develop in the most effective possible way.
After approved level 2, you can teach up to intermediate skiers. You will obtain IVSI approval, which is an international approval that qualifies you to work in ski schools at in Norway and abroad.
After completion of mandatory practice of required hours, you qualify to be able to start your ISIA level 3.
*If you have an education from another education system, or are not a DNS member, you must apply to transfer your education to DNS. Please apply in good time for the conversion. In addition, you must take and pass the E-learning module on the level 1 course in Canvas once your conversion is approved.

Lift pass and accommodation are not included in the price. There are many accommodation options in Hafjell. Airbnb, Hotels, Hafjell booking f.ex.

Hafjell is the home of the Slalom and GS in 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Hafjell has wide and varied amount of often empty slopes, with amazing conditions season long. A short drive gets you to Kvitfjell (on the same lift pass) home of the World Cup and Olympic Downhill. Hafjell and Kvitfjell will host the season World Cup finals in 2026 such is the quality of the terrain and snow.
Hafjell is very easy to get to from UK and mainland Europe through Oslo Gardermoen Airport with direct trains to Lillehammer or an easy 1.50 hour drive from the Airport. Accommodation is plenty and in general, much cheaper than the alps. Hafjell is snow sure. Lift passes are also cheaper than most alpine resorts.
