Leading our daily operations in Hafjell, Norway - we are passionate instructors with years of experience. To meet growing demand and keep our standards high, we also bring in local and international ski professionals from across Europe.

Scott Hammond holds the Swiss Brevet Fédéral, the highest professional ski instructor qualification, and is fully certified in both alpine and telemark skiing. He has also completed full instructor education through the Den Norske Skiskole (Norwegian Ski School) and the Irish Association of Snowsports Instructors. This broad international background in ski pedagogy provides him with the expertise and credentials to lead ski instructor training and certification courses at all levels. He is also an examiner at al levels for both Norwegian and Irish associations.
Scott has, for many years, served on the education boards of both the Norwegian and Irish associations and is currently the Head of Telemark for the Irish Association of Snowsports Instructors.
He has been a member of both the Norwegian and Irish Telemark demo teams, attended several Interski Congresses, and has led workshops at international events - sharing his experience and passion for Telemark teaching with instructors from around the world.

Mariann Kjelgaard is a Level 2 Alpine and Telemark instructor certified by DNS and IASI. She holds the International IVSI qualification and plans to pursue her DNS Level 3 ISIA certification in the upcoming season.

Torben Rasmussen is a DNS examiner with many years of experience as a teacher in Norway, Switzerland, Italy and Aspen, Colorado. A Certified DNS Level 4 Alpine ISIA Card Holder, in addition, he has passed the Swiss Patent Technical exam as well as Level 2 Telemark in both DNS and Swiss Snowsports systems.

Hafjell & Kvitfjell
Hafjell is the home of the Slalom and GS in 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Hafjell has wide and varied amount of often empty slopes, with amazing conditions season long. A short drive gets you to Kvitfjell (on the same lift pass) home of the World Cup and Olympic Downhill. Hafjell and Kvitfjell will host the season World Cup finals in 2026 such is the quality of the terrain and snow.
Hafjell is very easy to get to from UK and mainland Europe through Oslo Gardermoen Airport with direct trains to Lillehammer or an easy 1.50 hour drive from the Airport. Accommodation is plenty and in general, much cheaper than the alps. Hafjell is snow sure. Lift passes are also cheaper than most alpine resorts.
